The Diocese of Polokwane joyfully bids farewell to three young men who have travelled to Cape Town to begin an important phase of their lives: discerning their vocation to the priesthood.
They have bravely answered God’s gentle call and taken this formal first step on the path they hope will eventually lead them to become priests in our beautiful diocese. As these young men set out on their journey, prayerful support, love, and pride were also provided by the clergy, the religious, friends, family and the faithful of the diocese.
The three will now begin their new lives in Cape Town, where they will develop spiritually, socially, and academically while paying close attention to God’s will for their lives.
As the diocese of Polokwane, we give thanks to God for the gift of vocations and these young men’s generosity. As they consider His call, we keep them in our prayers and ask the Lord to give them wisdom, perseverance, and joy.
May Our Beloved Mother Mary, Mother of Vocations, always walk closely alongside these three young men.
